About Dr. Maiorini
Dr. Elyse Maiorini grew up in Farmington, CT with her parents and grandmother. She completed her undergraduate work at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 2008.
After college, she spent a year performing research in children’s oral health at Columbia University in New York City. Dr. Maiorini received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2013 and went on to complete a two-year general practice residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, during which she served as chief resident in her second year.
Afterwards, she spent two years in Charleston, SC as an associate caring for children and patients with special needs before deciding to return to the greater Charlotte area.
As a general dentist, Dr. Maiorini enjoys all areas of comprehensive dental care, including preventive treatment, crown and bridgework, root canals, and tooth replacement options. She is a certified Invisalign provider and a member of the American Dental Association and South Carolina Dental Association.
When she is not taking care of patients, Dr. Maiorini loves spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, going to Orangetheory, running, traveling, gardening, playing the violin, and eating Italian food.
